What do we do?

bubble consultants are specialists in transformational change. Using a range of development tools, our consultants help transform individuals, and through them organisations. Our approach is to facilitate the development of meaningful conversation.


What is a meaningful conversation?

A conversation that results in new understanding, new perspectives, paradigm shifts or "aha" moments. When these aha moments offer new insights into the achievement of individual needs and wants through the achievement of an individual's work, then that work takes on new meaning.


Why bubble as a company name?

We see the bubbles in our logo as representing the space in which individuals and groups of individuals create those conversations.


Why are meaningful conversations so important?

In today's fast changing environments, ongoing organisational success depends on many things but perhaps most important is the way in which organisations utilise their talent. Discretionary effort and its close allies, creativity and innovation are often cited as fundamental to an organisation's ability to adapt.

At bubble, our collective experiences as leaders, managers and coaches have proven to us time and again that development at the individual level creates the conditions where this discretionary effort is offered and creativity and innovation unleashed.

Why are mission statements and HR practices not enough?

Mission statements are important as summaries of the organisation's purpose and strategic intent. HR processes are important in ensuring clarity in how people are recruited, developed and their performance managed. However, by themselves statements of intent and HR processes will not drive creativity or innovation. Nor, in isolation, will they inspire and motivate.

It is the developmental conversations that take place around these statements and processes, between individual team members, between team members and their managers and between the organisation leaders and the organisation as a whole, that bring the mission and performance management processes to life.

It is through developmental conversations, centred on the organisation's core purpose, that individuals find meaning for themselves in their roles. With meaning comes motivation and when individual meaning is derived from organisation purpose, discretionary effort is assured.
